What to Expect
Smiles are not one-size-fits-all. We make it our top priority to understand your goals, explain all of the options, and involve you in decisions about your treatment plan. You will see Dr. Jenkins at every appointment, you can also expect that she’ll spend as much time with you as it takes to answer every question and make sure we’re meeting your needs.
Regular Orthodontic Appointments
The initial appointment when you get your appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) can take from one to two hours. You’ll then see us at regular intervals usually 6 to 8 weeks apart for an adjustment, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment only.
We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately and try to give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
Financial Considerations
Orthodontic treatment costs vary for each patient depending on the treatment plan and severity of each case. We offer free first time consultations and will give you a full fee schedule with payment options prior to the beginning of your treatment. We are flexible and offer payment plans to meet your financial needs. We accept many different forms of payment including cash, checks, Visa, or Mastercard for payment. Automatic payment withdrawal is also available. As a courtesy, we will gladly assist with the filing of insurance forms and accept most PPO insurance plans. We are also a MetLife™ preferred provider.
